Find your icons with Iconfinder

A webdesigner is always in search of good icons. A good icon can give that extra punch to any design and can greatly enhance the usability of a web application. But where do you look for these icons?? We can get vast amount of icons on the web. Many sites offer huge amount of iconsets for free download. But finding the right icon can be a daunting task. I have spent many hours just looking for an icon to put in my info link. It can be like searching for a needle in a haystack.

Thats where iconfinder comes in.

It helps to easily find the icons that you are looking for. As soom as you enter the site you are greeted by this big google like search form. As you type in the form it provides suggestions for your search.

The resulting icons icons can be saved in png or ico format and it also provides option to save the icons in variuos resolutions.

Been looking for something like this actually without ever realising that I have been looking for it....usually end using istock preview icons. Nice one. Oh and by the way - really nice looking site you have here!
